I purchased an HTC U11 handset locked onto the UK EE network. Now EE will not supply unlock codes to anybody apart from the original owner. So I purchased an unlock code from Cellunlocker.net. Priced at a reasonable $15 (only slightly more than EE would have charged!), the code with full instructions were supplied within five minutes. The actual operation took ten seconds after turning the handset on with another network SIM (three UK in this case). Very positive experience and I would totally recommend.

They sent me codes stated as "Server error, Please contact us," and then I did contact them to no avail. I really needed to unlock my phone so I can use it outside of Canada.

Because the codes were not sent to me in time, I went to unlock my phone with my Network, then informed Cellunlocker to cancel my order, and that I would like to have a refund instead, since they didn't help with the unlocking. They even sent me an email stating that the order is canceled and to allow ten days to process the refund. Then after a day passed, they sent me the codes that I no longer need, and then they sent me a message that they will not give me the refund since the order was completed. They sent me the code that I no longer needed because the phone they were supposed to unlock was already unlocked by my network.

Learn from my mistake. And unlocking is now free in Canada.

Before I knew them, I ordered from another net company and they showed only one price, but after I ordered with them, then they tell me to pay more. If not, it can't make a code. In Canada, laws are forcing carriers to unlock phones. That being said, carriers are dishonest and create difficulties when one asks for an unlocking code. Therefore it's still time efficient and worth the cost to just pay for an unlocking code.
