Bombas Socks Reviews - Are They Worth the Price?

Sending the product back if it ever arrives. I ordered twice from Amazon after placing an order with BOMBAS and received both of them and still almost two weeks later still no order from BOMBAS. Reached out to customer service and no reply either. Will have to call credit card company and waste time disputing the charge because it must be a scam.

My whole experience was awful. The socks are fine. I mean they are expensive cotton socks. Nothing special. They have their name written in huge letters on every pair, so you don't forget it, too. Looks like crap, but whatever.

What is really crappy is their customer service. They make it sound like returns are easy, but it's like pulling teeth. I've emailed at least 5 times, it's been a week, and still have no way of returning them. If I hadn't already worn some of them, I'd return them all.

I am NEVER buying from this company again.

The men's socks are way too small for the size stated, and the women's crew socks were too tight at the calf. The quarter socks, on the other hand, were fabulous! Comfy, warm and stylish. I was underwhelmed by the return procedure. It took several days and several emails to get that accomplished. It should be easier for such a routine task.

I have heard about these socks on the radio and have seen online and I decided to buy one pair to see if they are as good as they say on the radio.

Well, I didn't think that at $12 for one pair they would end up being my favorite socks. I thought it was a scam..12 bucks for one pair. I always bought a bag of eight for $10 so, I haven't a clue what made me spend $12 for one pair. Oh my goodness, I was so happy I did. Best socks I've ever owned.

I bought more in different styles and am going to buy a couple of pairs to be Christmas gifts. I hope there is a sale when it is the holiday season.

I hope many break down and buy one pair (no-show cushioned), they are my fav.

I can't speak to the quality because I've only worn them once and will probably just shelve them. I have larger feet, size 12 to 13, and I bought five pairs of the Extra Large socks, the largest they have.

Even those are too small. I'd guess about a size 10 to 11. They aren't comfortable to wear, and the cotton material is thin and scratchy, not the premier cotton I was led to expect.

The grocery store Gold Toe cotton socks are thick, fluffy and very comfortable and I'll choose them every day over the Bombas. Oh, and a fraction of the price.

To pill is to "form into a little ball, like fuzz on a sweater." I bought six pairs and they all did that at the first wearing. I do like the colors. Jury is still out. Oh, I complained about the pilling, and they sent me one new pair. Those pilled too!

I have been reading about Bombas Socks for some time. I was interested in trying a pair of these socks. The cost was higher than what I usually pay for socks, but with one pair goes to charity, I thought it was a good deal. So I ordered a pair of women's low cut socks and have never been more pleased. The fit is perfect especially for someone with a long big toe. The arch cushioning is great, and I find myself going for this one pair of socks all the time. I have read the reviews and find that some folks are unhappy for one reason or another, I can only say, I think they are GREAT! Christmas is coming, and my husband wants to try a pair. He also has a long big toe and finds himself mending his socks or throwing them out. I read more on the history today and learned they were featured on Shark Tank in 2014 and got a Shark to partner with them. I am sure Damon John is still happy about that deal.

For me, it's a tale of two worlds. Their dress socks are amazing. Great arch support, they stay up and in place, hold their form, and seem to wash well. The first wash there was significantly more fading but that has leveled out and they still look great after a few washes. They are cushioned and have substance to them and are well constructed. I also have Tommy John dress socks and Bombas edges them out due to the substance of the sock and the higher level of arch support.

Here's where I'm conflicted...their ankle socks aren't as great. The arch support isn't as pronounced and the construction is not nearly as solid. After one washing I had one develop a hole in the seam where the heal ties into the side of the sock. I didn’t think much of it due to their warranty (although it was my very first pair, so the first impression wasn't great).

I contacted customer service thinking one email, due to their no questions asked...etc., etc., you’ll love these...guaranteed. It took five emails; me taking a picture to submit to prove it, and was otherwise a burdensome experience. When I’m paying more premium prices part of the deal is premium service...I didn’t feel like that was the case, and honestly nearly killed my relationship with them. But that said, they did ship a replacement.

The ankle socks also seemed to fade SIGNIFICANTLY worse than their dress socks and don’t look overly impressive after a couple of washings. They are VERY comfortable, however, but for the price I feel there are better alternatives for ankle socks. Shipping is PAINFULLY slow as well so don’t be in a hurry to receive them...and their inventory always seems to be an issue as my size is rarely available for the socks I want.

So why 4 stars? Their dress socks are THAT good and make up for the other pain areas.

My feet have never felt better. After a long, grueling day of standing on my feet in work, then 1.5 hours with a personal trainer sweating, jumping around, cardio and aerobic activities, the socks still feel (and more importantly) my feet still feel like they did when I put the socks on in the wee hours of the morning - comfortable and supported.

While these are the most I've ever paid for socks, to me they are well worth it.

I ordered socks four days ago and got no confirmation or expected shipping date or anything.

Now, I'm on my third customer service rep (I was told originally their "crack team" would have me satisfied in 12 hours) who says (with a lot of inappropriate exclamation points in his email) that he can't find my order, but he "looks forward to my reply!" and asks me for the info I already gave them twice.

Well, my credit card company, sure enough, found it.

This is the worst customer service this side of Hewlett Packard. Complete runaround/stall for time.
