Both my daughter and I attempted to each stop the barking on each of our dogs. Neither dog stopped! A waste of money! She has a Beagle and me a Schnauzer, and maybe they are stubborn...mine would stop for a moment and then continue on barking!

Just received it this AM, and both the dogs and I are going through a steep learning curve. They all know papa has a new device and we are tired of all the barking. Give me a week or so, and I think all I will have to do is show them it in my hand and the bad behavior will be gone.

I saw this on Pinterest one time while scrolling with the title "Do you yell at your dog to start barking? Try this instead!" This intrigued me because my Cocker Spaniel CONSTANTLY barks at everything. We've tried everything from simply yelling at her, to bark collars, and even shock collars. And nothing works. She either doesn't acknowledge the noise or feeling, or it takes her a couple of minutes to finally lay off. At this point, it is annoying my whole household as her bark echoes throughout the whole house. So I thought maybe I'd give this a try. When we got it in the mail I took off her current Bark Collar and let her loose outside (where she spends all of her time barking). She immediately started barking at the neighbors behind us who were working on their yard. I slowly walked up to her with the device and pressed the button. Nothing. Not even a reaction. I brought her inside and sat her on the couch and pressed the button. She perked up the first time, and I tried it throughout the day, but she only ever had the reaction the first time. She didn't even acknowledge it. I don't know if it's her, or if it's the device. Also, everyone in my household can hear the device and they claimed humans couldn't hear it. I want to return this, please. It doesn't work.

Dear Sir or Madam,

I ordered a BarxBuddy unit and my credit card was billed a total of $74.90. After ordering it I realized I purchased the same item a few months ago. It had no effect whatsoever on my dog so I chalked it up as a lesson learned and put it away. I forgot all about it until it was too late to cancel my order.

How do I go about returning this item and will I get a full refund. When things like this happen it is a warning that I should stop shopping online!

Please advise me where I should send this unit to for a refund! Thank you!

I will need to study the device a little bit to know how to operate it correctly. It seems like a needed device to make changes on a barking dog on their behavior habits. I like that it is dog-friendly and won't hurt them but, if worked right, can discipline the dog to do well when needed.

When my pom-chi gets to barking, he is relentless. So I had my doubts about BarxBuddy if I am being honest. However, once I started using BarxBuddy to train my dog, James, I now am convinced that we're going to nip his barking issues in the bud! Happy customer here.

My dog would bark nonstop in another room and if I tried to use the device through the walls or at a distance it would not work, it would not stop him from barking, but if I entered the room in which she was barking and he saw me he would stop barking immediately, and that is without the use of the device. I took the device with me for a walk with my dog thinking if other dogs would bark at him that I could use the device to stop those dogs, but it didn’t work there either, and maybe because I was 20 to 40 feet away but it did not stop those other dogs from barking at my dog. Fortunately, I could control my dog so he wouldn’t bark under those circumstances, but then again, that’s without using the device on my dog. My dog is an 8-year-old chocolate lab who is totally wild. Every time I walk him he barks and whines because he wants to run. I tried this device today and it did not even phase him. I will try for a week and report back results.

I am one of the biggest skeptics on planet earth when it comes to purchasing items that claim they can really do this or that...and I duly expressed this when I placed the order for BarxBuddy. However, I am truly impressed by the device and must eat my words of skepticism on this one. I followed the instructions of train/treat/repeat a couple of times and viola' - silence for hours! I even tried it on my cat when he jumped up on the counter or started scratching on no-nos...works like a charm.

I can just pick it up and they behave. I don't like writing reviews and I especially don't like being required to write a certain number of characters but I decided to write one and include my objections.

We have a long hair chihuahua. He barks all day long at anything and everything! We are trying to be vigilant and consistent with the Barx. So far he seems to be better about the barking. Thank you for the device. I didn't want to use a shock collar on him. He is very stubborn and I think that consistent use will help with the problem. Will try to keep you posted on our success.
